The Philosophy of work and life of Peter Scholtes

Peter Scholtes was rich in spirit and in friends.

Peter Scholtes was clear about his mission: To foster Joy in Work.

As we look over the course of the life of Peter Scholtes we see a golden thread of humanity and caring for others. Fostering Joy in Work was not a stretch for Peter Scholtes.

Consider this verse from the famous hymn written by Peter Scholtes:

They Will Know We are Christians by our Love by Peter Scholtes

“We will work with each other we will work side by side
And we’ll guard each man’s dignity and save each man’s pride”

I find those words inspiring, moving, and impossible to improve upon.

Like others who had the great fortune to know and work with Peter Scholtes, I pledge to continue along the path he forged.
